Therapy in Dallas, TX
Local Counseling
Here for my community.
As someone who has spent years supporting individuals and families through hospice and geriatric care, I understand how deeply life transitions can impact people in our Dallas community.
I offer a steady, compassionate space where you can speak honestly about what you’re facing, without feeling rushed or judged. My approach is grounded in respect, curiosity, and the belief that every stage of life deserves care, dignity, and support.
It’s meaningful to me to be a local resource for adults in Dallas who are navigating grief, aging, caregiving, and the changes that come with them.

In-Person Services
Serving adults throughout Dallas-Fort Worth.
I provide in-person counseling in Dallas for adults navigating grief, aging, caregiving, trauma, and life transitions across the DFW area, including Plano, Richardson, and North Dallas.
Meeting face to face offers a quiet, private space where you can slow down, reflect, and feel fully supported without the distractions of home. Many clients find that being physically present helps them feel more grounded and connected during difficult conversations.
If you’re in the Dallas–Fort Worth community and looking for steady, compassionate support, in-person therapy can offer a meaningful place to begin.
Who I help.
Many of the people I see are carrying grief, adjusting to changes in health or identity, or feeling the emotional weight of caring for someone they love. If you’ve been trying to manage it on your own but feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward, you’re in the right place.
Hartzell Counseling is especially well-suited for individuals who are navigating:
- Adults 50+ navigating grief, retirement, or major life transitions
- Caregivers supporting aging or ill loved ones while feeling overwhelmed
- Individuals adjusting to chronic illness, pain, or loss of independence
- People feeling stuck, anxious, or unsure how to move forward
